May 19 – 25 is National Safe Boating Week, and the single biggest part of safe boating is wearing a life jacket (PFD or Personal Floatation Device). See
http://www.safeboatingcampaign.com/ for stories and statistics. Our Harbor Patrol regularly see the value of PFDs as they perform rescues off our coast and in the Bay.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, San Mateo County Harbor District
