      East Basin Maintenance Dredging
Ghilotti Brothers/Cooper Crane JV have begun maintenance dredging down to 8 feet in Oyster Point's East Basin. The job is expected to finish around the end of July.

The dredging rig is behind the area where the ferry terminal will go.

    Oyster Point Marina Ferries:
The ferry terminal construction’s first phase of dock removal and dredging is now complete. WETA has accepted constructions bids from Power Engineering to build the ferry terminal, and from Manson Engineering to build the float and gangway. The float will have two slips to serve two vessels. Construction is expected to start late this summer.

Dredging rig in action. Depth will be lowered to ten feet in the channel and terminal area, with a twelve foot depth where the two ferry slips will be.
