Oyster Point Marina/Park Project Status/Update

Oyster Point Marina Ferries East Basin Parking Lot and Roadway Lighting Oyster Point Marina Ferries: The ferry terminal construction’s first phase of dock removal and dredging is now complete. The WETA is now seeking bids for the next phase, which starts with installing four piles on which the terminal building will be constructed. The terminal will be located in the now-vacant area formerly occupied by docks 9 and 10. Dredging rig in action. Depth will be lowered to ten feet in the channel and terminal area, with a twelve foot depth where the two ferry slips will be. Meanwhile, the District continues to work out details of how to carry out the parking lot improvements cooperatively with the WETA, which will use some of the East Basin lot for ferry user parking.
