NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received in the Administration Offices of the San Mateo County Harbor District (District) either by U.S. Postal Service addressed to its mailing address, P.O. Box 1449, El Granada, CA 94018; or by courier or personal delivery to the San Mateo County Harbor District, 504 Avenue Alhambra, Suite 200, El Granada, CA, by October 15, 2020 @ 2:00 PM Pacific Time, for the following:
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) #2020-04, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR: Replacement of Oyster Point Marina Entrance Navigation Aids Design, Engineering, Permitting and Construction Support Services
NOTE: The United States Postal Service does not deliver mail to District Office. The District shall not be responsible for timely receipt of submittals if addressed to the District’s P.O. Box address.
The San Mateo County Harbor District (“District”) is requesting proposals from qualified design, engineering firms or individuals (Proposer) to provide professional design, engineering, technical specifications, permitting and construction support services for replacement of 2 navigation aids at Oyster Point Marina.
The District hereby notifies all Proposers that it is the policy of the District to ensure nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in the award and administration of contracts.
Requests for modifications or clarifications of any requirement must be submitted in writing by email to: email@example.com or by U.S. Mail to U.S. Postal Service address above. All such requests must be received in District’s office by September 29, 2020 @ 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
Proposals will be examined by District Staff and reported to the San Mateo County Harbor District Board of Harbor Commissioners within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the proposals have been opened. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals; or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal or in the proposal procedure; or to postpone the proposal opening for good cause. No Proposer may withdraw its proposal for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the date of opening of the proposals. Each Proposer will be notified of award of contract if an award is made.

Downloading RFP documents from the District’s website does not imply your firm is a potential Proposer. Please send your firm’s contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in providing a proposal.
