San Mateo County Harbor District Moves to Districted Elections

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

San Mateo County Harbor District moves to Districted Elections: Proposed Maps; Round 1.

After the primary phase of the move to Districted Elections whereby demographic services and community input were sought, the first round of Proposed Election District Maps will be available no later than August 8 on the District’s website, www.smharbor.com/district-elections.

The public can provide comments on this process by: email to Steve McGrath smcgrath@smharbor.com; mail to San Mateo Harbor District, PO Box 1449, El Granada, CA 94018; or in person at the next Harbor Commission meeting August 15, 6:30 p.m. at the District office, 504 Ave. Alhambra, El Granada.

Following this meeting, there will be two additional public meetings to review the maps and gain additional input prior to the next Harbor Commission meeting in September.
