7th Annual Coastside Cornhole Tournament Set for Sunday, Sept. 21 at Pillar Point Harbor
Half Moon Bay, CA – (Monday August 25, 2025) – Cornhole boards, coastal breezes, and community spirit return to the Coastside as the 7th Annual Coastside Cornhole Tournament takes over Pillar Point Harbor on Sunday, September 21, from 10 AM to 4 PM. A huge thanks to the new partnership with San Mateo County Harbor District. What began as a friendly local gathering has grown into a signature fall event, bringing together players, families, and spectators for a day of competition, fun, and giving back.
Teams of two will compete in lively matches on custom cornhole courts set against the stunning harbor backdrop. The professionally facilitated event welcomes all skill levels—from seasoned pros to first-time players—making it the perfect way to spend a Sunday on the Coastside. “This event has truly become a Coastside tradition,” said Corrine Bucher, event organizer and Executive Director of CEF. “Cornhole is such an easy, fun way to bring people together, and Pillar Point Harbor makes the perfect setting. We can’t wait to welcome players, families, and fans for our seventh year.”
In addition to the tournament action, attendees can enjoy local food & drinks from Ketch, craft beer from Blue Oak Brewing and other fall-inspired treats from area vendors. The festive atmosphere is family-friendly, with music, cheering crowds, and the unbeatable backdrop of the Pacific. And as an added treat we will have all the football games on at Ketch and a Kid’s Zone. The Coastside Cornhole Tournament also carries a spirit of giving back: all the proceeds will support Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF), helping to strengthen our local public schools.
